About Lighthouse Harbor
Lighthouse Harbor is a calm-but-tense strategy game set in a foggy night harbour. You control the lighthouse. Any ship caught in your beam sails toward the dock that matches its colour; ships left in the dark drift, and can hit rocks or each other. Swing the light between ships, sound the foghorn to stop everyone before a crash, and dock enough ships to survive the night.
How to play Lighthouse Harbor
- New players start with a short interactive tutorial. You can replay it any time from "How to play".
- Drag anywhere on a touch screen, or move the mouse, to point the lighthouse beam. Arrow keys rotate it too.
- Ships inside the beam sail to the dock of their own colour — the coloured dot above each ship tells you which.
- Ships outside the beam drift on their own. Keep them away from rocks and from each other.
- When two ships are about to collide, sound the FOGHORN (button, Space, or a second finger). Every ship stops for a moment.
- Dock the number of ships shown at the top to survive the night. Three wrecks and the harbour closes.
- New docks open on later nights, and more ships arrive at once.

Tips and strategy
- Guide the ship closest to danger first — ships far out at sea can wait.
- Docking ships quickly one after another builds a chain bonus for extra coins.
- Save the foghorn for real emergencies; it takes a few seconds to recharge.
- Rocks stay faintly outlined in the fog. Sweep the beam past ships drifting toward them.
- Wide Lens lets you light two ships at once — a great first upgrade.
- Lifeboats give you an extra wreck per night when the harbour gets busy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Lighthouse Harbor free to play?
Yes. Lighthouse Harbor is completely free and runs in your web browser with no download, account or app install.
Can I play it on my phone?
Yes. Drag one finger anywhere to aim the beam, and tap the FOGHORN button or use a second finger to stop every ship.
How do ships know where to go?
Each ship has a coloured dot. While it is inside your lighthouse beam it sails to the dock with the same colour and steers around rocks on the way.
What does the foghorn do?
It makes every ship drop anchor for about two seconds, which gives you time to separate ships that are about to collide.
How do I unlock new docks?
A third dock opens from night 3 and a fourth from night 6. More docks means more colours to juggle.
Is my progress saved?
Yes. Your night, stars, coins, upgrades and beam colours are saved automatically in your browser on this device.
